🏁 Milestone Checkpoint
Milestone Checkpoint — Lab System 3: Culture, Humility, and Curiosity (Learning Norms Pilot)
Before you move on, choose one learning norm to protect and one to adjust. The goal is for learning to happen sooner—so mistakes surface early and cost less—not to “fix culture” all at once.
Quick checklist (complete before you start the pilot)
[ ] I completed the private reflection and noted 1–2 signals I may be reinforcing (humility/defensiveness/uncertainty).
[ ] We collected anonymous examples of behaviors that help learning and behaviors that make learning harder.
[ ] We grouped responses into themes (patterns, not people).
[ ] We selected one learning norm to protect (what we want more of).
[ ] We selected one learning norm to adjust (what we want less of).
[ ] We defined one small, testable behavior change to run for the next month.
Pilot Plan (2–6 weeks)
Develop your personalized plan using the WOBO workbook that follows. You'll reflect on the following:
- What we’re testing (1 sentence):
(Example: “In lab meeting Q&A, we will treat ‘uncertainty’ as data: ask 1 clarifying question before proposing solutions.”) - Owner (name/role):
- Start date:
- Test duration (2–6 weeks):
- Success signal (what we’ll notice if it’s working):
(Examples: more questions asked earlier, faster surfacing of errors, fewer defensive shutdowns, clearer learning moments) - Review date (calendar date):
- Where we’ll track it (doc/link/location):
